The Enchanted Forest is an ancient fairytaleland featuring more than 350 fairy folk figurines that are beautifully hidden amidst 800-year-old cedar trees. In the 1950s artist Doris Neeham and her husband purchased a forest to serve as a home for her hand-sculpted cement figures from nursery rhymes and fairytales. They created a little gingerbread-style house to reside in within the forest, and constructed rock walls and cleared trails to createthe magical space that still remains today. Due to the opening of Rogers Pass, traffic began to make its way through their area and people took note so they opened their little oasis to the public in the 1960s.
