Clarke, N., D’Amato, A., Higgs, M., & Ramesh, V. (2018). Responsible leadership is becoming increasingly important in today’s business world. With the rise of corporate social responsibility initiatives, organizations are looking for leaders who can make ethical decisions and lead their teams with integrity. This article will provide insights into the ethical decision making process, as well as strategies for responsible leadership in projects. Responsible leadership starts with ethical decision making. Leaders must be able to recognize ethical dilemmas and be aware of the consequences of their decisions. To effectively make ethical decisions, leaders must understand the concept of “utility”, which is the amount of good or bad a decision will bring. They must also be aware of the various stakeholders involved and consider their interests and values. In addition to understanding ethical decision making, responsible leaders must also be cognizant of their actions and behavior. Leaders must be aware of the impact their decisions and actions have on those around them. They must also be aware of the consequences of their decisions, both short-term and long-term. When it comes to leading projects, responsible leaders must be mindful of the project goals and objectives. They must ensure that the project is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with the project plan. Leaders must also be aware of any potential risks and be prepared to handle them. Leaders should also strive to create an environment where team members can collaborate and communicate effectively. Ultimately, responsible leadership in projects requires ethical decision making, considering the interests and values of all stakeholders, and being aware of the consequences of your decisions. By understanding these concepts and applying them in your projects, you can ensure that you are leading with integrity and that your projects are successful../span>
