These Crystallized Book Sculptures were made by Alexis Arnold from old books, magazines, and computer manuals. She used the Borax Crystal Method to make these sculptures.

When I saw these crystallized book sculptures on Colossal I knew I had to post the DIY version I posted last year from the blog: Stuff you Can’t Have.

You can find the DIY Crystallization with Borax Tutorial from Stuff You Can’t Have here.

Growing crystals with Borax bought at the market is so cheap, easy and relatively quick.

You can also crystallize photos HERE, fabric HERE, and shells HERE.

Bones can also be crystallized with Borax. Tumblr Blog The Result of Boredom posted this crystallized skull made with Borax here.
