We are fervently dedicated to being a platform for teachers to voice their opinions.

PUBLISHING PROGRAM

Scholastic Teacher Resources offers an extensive range of products every year, with 20 to 30 publications created specifically for teachers, pre-service students, and those in grades K-8.

Teaching Strategies BooksSmall format books on new ideas, strategies, and approaches. Recent titles in this line include: Setting the Stage for Rock-Star Readers, 7 Keys to Research for Writing Success, and Writing: A Project-Based Approach.

Reproducible Activity BooksPractical, activity/resource books for teaching integrated language arts, science, social studies, math, art and other areas. These books are typically published in a series of 3-6 titles. Recent series in this line include: Play and Learn Math, Informational Texts for Striving Readers, and Little Learner Packets.

K–2 Early ReadersThese sets of 20 8-page books are written specifically for Kindergarten readers at levels A-D. Recent series in this line include: First Little Comics, Buddy Readers, and English-Spanish First Little Readers.

Scholastic Teacher Resources is inviting educators to submit their ideas in order to provide helpful and inspiring content that shows respect to all learners. Proposals will be assessed based on the originality of the ideas, how useful they are to the teaching market, and how closely they match the directions and goals of Scholastic Teacher Resources.

  • A query letter with a brief description of the idea including the grade range for which it is appropriate.
  • A sampling of the activities and projects if applicable or sample chapter.
  • A short paragraph about you, the author.

All submissions should be emailed [email protected] strongly advise against opening any attachments received in emails. We cannot guarantee the safety of any attachments, so it is best to avoid opening them.

It can take up to 10-12 weeks to receive a response. We have a limited number of staff members, so we kindly ask for your patience. If you have a project idea, please only send one query.
